Your gym motivation just got more colourful: Amazing Nike unveils the Fuelband SE

When the Nike+ FuelBand was released in 2010, it was something of a revelation - and not just because it was a piece of wearable tech that actually looks pretty stylish. (Google Glass, take note.) In New York yesterday, Nike unveiled the Fuelband's successor: the Nike+ Fuelband SE. Cosmetically, not much has changed: there's still the clean black lines, now with pops of colour in yellow,

The biggest changes have come inside, with the addition nike free run 2 cheap of Bluetooth 4.0. That, used in combination with a redesigned iPhone app, allows for a range of new features. A lot of them are about motivation: the app now displays a curve graph of your activity throughout the day, so long periods of lazing around will show up. Like a motherly personal trainer, the band will flash a gentle reminder when you've been inactive for a long period of time, so the new "Win the Hour" tracker is designed to make you get up more regularly.
