Adidas Upstages Nike’s Big Soccer Shoe Unveiling, And Now It’s All-Out War

So Nike had this big, glitzy shoe unveiling show all ready to go in Spain on Wednesday night, in which it was to unveil its most innovative soccer invention to date: a knitted hybrid boot that’s both a shoe and a sock. Ohhh! That shot hit the mainmast, and Nike is dead in the water! BOARD THEM AND TAKE THEIR WOMEN. Yes, Adidas and Nike introduced their hybrid shoe-sock soccer boot things on the same day, one hour apart, both claiming that the invention is “ground-breaking” and a “game-changer.”

Adidas is a German company, but I’ll eschew a blitzkrieg analogy here because that would be in poor taste. The company did move quickly with precision force, however, possibly invading Poland (the press release was not clear). Anyway, Adidas stole Nike’s thunder and made this a true two-shoe race, just in time for the Champions League and World Cup hype cycle. And we all love a good shoe war. The Adidas Primeknit FS, seen above, is one of three designs by Adidas, and they claim that it provides the protection and stability of a regular soccer cleat, but with the flexibility and feel of a knit sock.

The actual Football Trunk Battle might final for a long time, as well as price a large number of life. Or even, we're able to just about all simply concur which actively playing professional football inside your socks appears less than professional, and perhaps unpleasant. The actual champion right here might be The puma company, the actual Europe associated with sports footwear businesses. Each footwear is going to be readily available for pre-order within 04.
